Our choices are either building a life and body we love or they’re not. It really is that simple. It’s a compounding effect. While none of us will ever be perfect, we can all learn to be consistent. Because the life we live isn’t dependent on one choice or what we do occasionally…it’s all about what we do consistently.

If we want to facilitate change in our lives we have to start by choosing one thing…just one thing to work on consistently. One thing we can commit to fully. For us, it started by committing to a workout program. Showing up for ourselves every day for 80 days helped us learn new things about ourselves. It shifted our focus to what we were capable of…it helped us start to view ourselves as strong…start to appreciate our bodies (and our minds) for what they could do for us. The longer we consistently showed up for ourselves and our health the more gratitude we gained for what we were experiencing, the more confidence we gained in who we were becoming. That positive strength, gratitude, confidence and energy began to spill over into other aspects of our lives and without even trying…we realized we weren’t just changing our bodies. We were changing our minds, our relationships, our careers, our goals…we were changing our lives.

We invite you to watch this week’s episode of Coffee with Carrie & Calie where we share how we learned to be consistent, how we continue to practice consistency and what it’s helped us accomplish in our lives. Being consistent in one area doesn’t change one thing. It changes everything. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You simply choose one thing….just one. Leave a comment and tell us what one thing you are committing to be consistent with moving forward. We’re all on this journey together. We don’t have all the answers, but we’re putting in the work every day to become the strongest, healthiest, happiest versions of ourselves. Thank you for joining us in the trenches. We’re glad you’re here.
